TTACS M-Pesa Credit Scorer · Effective for this session · Kenya
1. Purpose of this tool
This service evaluates M-Pesa statement exports to produce a deterministic credit
eligibility score, affordability estimate, and rule findings. It supports underwriting
decisions and provides an optional FlexVertex audit trail for decision reconstruction.
2. What you consent to
By accepting, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to submit the statement for scoring;
- you understand the output is automated assistance to a human decision process;
- you have read the summary points on privacy, explanation rights, and fraud checks.
3. Privacy by design
Statement text is parsed for underwriting features. Raw narrative and avoidable personal
detail are minimised in favour of structured metadata (amounts, timing, counterparty
patterns, and similar features). Scoring runs within this service’s deployment boundary.
4. Right to explanation (Data Protection Act, Section 35)
Where an automated or partly automated decision adversely affects you, you may request
a clear explanation of the material rule outcomes. Where FlexVertex audit is enabled,
decision reconstruction can replay the recorded evaluation path for that application.
5. Fraud and AML-oriented checks
The scorecard may flag patterns consistent with circular funding, artificial inflow
inflation, or related abuse indicators. These checks support POCAMLA-aligned controls
for the operator; they are not a finding of criminal liability.
6. Accuracy and limits
Results depend on the completeness and authenticity of the uploaded statement and on the
active policy rules. Declined, referred, or approved outcomes are recommendations for
review—not a guarantee of credit. The tool does not itself constitute a CBK-licensed
Digital Credit Provider (DCP) or a loan contract.
7. Retention and location
Audit and evaluation records, where stored, remain under the operator’s deployment
(including Contabo / enterprise perimeter for this instance). Operators remain responsible
for Kenya data-localisation and retention requirements applicable to their licence.
8. Operator compliance (not part of consumer click-through)
Full production use by a lender also requires institutional steps outside this screen,
including DPIA engagement with the ODPC where automated decision-making applies,
CBK DCP algorithm-transparency arrangements where relevant, and confirmation that
sensitive financial processing stays within Kenya as required. This click-wrap does not
replace those obligations.
9. Changes
Terms may be updated with product releases. Continued use after notice of material
changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for new evaluations.
